FULL-TIME POSITIONS
Summary
Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Accountant is responsible for managing the general ledger, account reconciliations, cash receipts, depreciation, accruals, restricted asset releases, and preliminary monthly accounting cycle closing. This role requires exceptional attention to detail to produce NJFPL’s financial data by researching, investigating, and identifying trends or anomalies efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities and duties
- Develop and maintain financial record-keeping and reporting systems.
- Process payroll, billing, receivables, payables, cash receipts, cash disbursements, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare reconciliations and follow up on unusual items.
- Reconcile program income generated versus sub-recipient agency funding.
- Monitor program income submitted on expenditure reports.
- Collect quarterly expenditure reports and consolidate them by funding sources.
- Reconcile sub-recipient expenditure reports with submitted grant budgets.
- Collect annual audits from sub-recipients and ensure proper reporting.
- Maintain a list of contracts and their status.
- Prepare invoices and ensure all general ledger accounts are reconciled monthly.
- Process monthly closing entries and reconcile bank accounts.
- Reconcile grants paid to agencies with expenditure reports.

- Track and reconcile FPA membership dues and payments.
- Process FPA bank deposits and email renewal invoices to members.

Employees must begin the workday between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. All employees are expected to be available between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
- Hybrid Schedule – The League maintains a hybrid work environment. Employees must work in the League office for a minimum of 3 days a week and may work in a remote capacity for the remaining 2 days per week. Employees may elect to work in the office up to 5 days a week.
- Flexible hours and schedule must be coordinated with your supervisor and are subject to change based on business needs.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field OR minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience (non-profit preferred).
- Strong account reconciliation experience and understanding of key accounting standards.
- Proficiency in NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Excel.

Summary
NJFPL’s Communications & Development team is seeking a new Coordinator to help advance the League’s mission. In this role, the Communications and Development Coordinator will execute essential development and fundraising activities (40%) such as donor database management, grant support, and stewardship, while also driving impactful marketing and communications strategies (60%) across digital and print platforms to engage stakeholders, elevate brand visibility, and advocate for sexual and reproductive freedom. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented self-starter who is passionate about sexual and reproductive healthcare and wants to have an impact.
Responsibilities and duties
Communications (60%)
- Content Creation: Develop engaging, mission-aligned content for NJFPL’s website, email newsletters, and social media channels (primarily Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn).
- Brand Management: Maintain consistent messaging, brand voice, and visual identity across all platforms and materials.
- Marketing Materials: Assist with designing, writing, and overseeing the production of outreach materials, presentations, and educational resources.
- Media & Outreach: Assist in managing media relations, writing press releases, and coordinating public awareness campaigns.
- Reporting: Track and analyze communications metrics to measure effectiveness and inform future strategy
Development (40%)
- Database Management: Maintain and update NJFPL’s donor database with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate records of gifts, pledges, and donor communications.
- Donor Stewardship: Execute the donor acknowledgments, including generating and sending timely, personalized thank-you letters, tax receipts, and other donor correspondence to ensure a positive donor experience.
- Grant Support: Conduct grant opportunity research, and assist with proposal submission and reporting, including collecting supporting documents and managing deadlines.
- Fundraising Events: Support the planning and execution of small fundraising events, including logistics, communications, and vendor coordination.
- Appeals: Assist the Communications & Development Director in executing annual giving campaigns and donor appeals (both digital and mail).

Summary
Reporting to the Director of IT Systems & Data Management, the Data Analyst will support the league in data management, analysis, visualization and reporting. The Data Analyst is responsible for making data-driven decisions and driving continuous improvement through data collection, quality checks, and providing data analysis and reporting. The Data Analyst enables NJPFL’s employees, funders and provider agencies gain insights, monitor compliance, and identify opportunities for enhancing clinical and administrative practices.
Responsibilities and duties
Data Management
- Maintain existing data collection and analysis system (Bowlink) in support of the League.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on the data and flag areas of concern.
Data Analysis, Visualization & Reporting
- Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly automated reports for managers, funders, and member organizations.
- Assist with data interpretation and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Create data summaries including visualizations, dashboards and written descriptions of data findings for a wide range of audiences.
- Create tables and graphs in a way that supports learning to drive improvement.
- Create ad hoc reports as requested for League staff, gathering necessary information to complete these requests.
- Generate quality control reports for all agencies to track their compliance.
Provider & Staff Training:
- As part of the onboarding of new providers, provide training in League data management and reporting requirements and training on data submission processes and procedures.
- Provide ongoing technical assistance to staff and providers in submitting, accessing and analyzing data from the NJFPL data system (Bowlink).
Compliance Monitoring/Quality Assurance and Improvement
- Provide data support for periodic (tri-annual) program reviews.
- Participate in ‘program review team meetings.’
- Identify data patterns and trends that indicate opportunities for improvement in data collection, reporting and clinical and administrative practices.
Meetings
- Attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders to present data and key findings.
- Attend other meetings, as needed, to ensure data quality and provide training, guidance and consultation on data management.

Summary
Reporting to the President & CEO, the Director of Education and Research is responsible for developing, implementing, evaluating, and strengthening all education and research activities supporting the organization’s Title X and NJDOH–funded family planning initiatives. This includes oversight of curriculum development, staff training, data collection, research design, evaluation, quality assurance, and compliance with federal and state program requirements.
The Director ensures that all activities meet Title X regulations (42 CFR Part 59), NJDOH Family Planning Program Standards, evidence-based guidelines, and organizational priorities around health equity and reproductive autonomy.
Responsibilities and duties
Title X & State Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all educational materials, training programs, and research initiatives meet Title X rules.
- Maintain compliance with NJDOH family planning service standards and reporting requirements.
- Develop SOPs that support compliance across education and research activities.
Education & Training Leadership
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of reproductive health education programs.
- Ensure content is medically accurate, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and youth-friendly.
- Oversee continuing education opportunities for staff.
- Support trainings on contraceptive counseling, adolescent confidentiality, health equity, and trauma-informed care.
Research, Evaluation & Quality Improvement
- Design and oversee research, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead needs assessments, patient experience studies, and community surveys.
- Ensure compliance with privacy standards (HIPAA, Title X confidentiality).
- Develop reports and evidence summaries for leadership and funders.
Grant-Funded Program Oversight
- Provide oversight for Title X and NJDOH-funded projects.
- Collaborate on grant writing, reporting, evaluation plans, and deliverables.
- Produce high-quality program reports and documentation for funders.
Partnerships & Public Health Engagement
- Build partnerships with NJ clinical agencies, schools, community organizations, and health departments.
